A new rescue plan has been receiving impressive results in California.

A robotic lifeguard named Emily can speed across the water at 40 miles per hour and float up to 6 people at a time. There has only been practice runs, but hopefully every beach carries one.

The greatest part about Emily is that she can save lives six times faster than a lifeguard can.

It’s understandable that technology makes life easier, but who would have thought that robots would be taking over jobs such as a lifeguard position!?

Have a great day, everyone.
